Choosing the Right PTZoptics Model

Physical Installation

Mounting position

For a front-facing speaker setup, mount the camera at the back of the room elevated 10–14 feet. This angle gives a natural eye-level view of the speaker at the front. For audience capture, mount at the front corners elevated 8–12 feet angled back at the audience.

PTZoptics cameras ship with a standard camera mount and can be installed on wall mounts, ceiling mounts, or truss clamps using standard 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 threads.

Cabling

2. PTZoptics default IP is 192.168.100.88 — access via browser to configure static IP on your network
