Laser projectors offer 20,000–30,000 hours, instant on/off, and no lamp replacements. Lamp projectors use traditional bulbs (2,000–5,000 hours) needing periodic replacement but have lower upfront cost. For high-use commercial or educational environments, laser is strongly recommended.
